To apply for a PAN card online, follow these steps:
  1. Go to the official website of NSDL or UTIITSLClick here to apply for Pan Card
  2. Click on the "Apply for new PAN card" option.
  3. Select the form you want to fill, i.e., Form 49A or Form 49AA, depending on your status as an Indian or foreign citizen.
  4. Fill in all the required details, such as your name, date of birth, address, etc., and upload a scanned copy of your photograph, signature and document as proof of identity, address, DOB.
  5. Make the payment of the application fee.
  6. Submit the application and note down the acknowledgement number.
  7. Print out the application form and affix two passport-sized photographs on it.
  8. Sign the form in the space provided and send it along with the necessary documents to the address mentioned on the website.

Documents required:
  1. Proof of identity - Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license, passport, etc.
  2. Proof of address - Aadhaar card, voter ID, electricity bill, bank statement, etc.
  3. Proof of date of birth -Aadhaar card, birth certificate, school leaving certificate, etc.
